some of the notes reference the plot or choreography of the actual ballet. though the rite is often
performed as a concert work i also HIGHLY recommend watching a performance of the ballet with the
original choreography!
i wrote this to be informal and relatively approachable, especially for my friends and people who are not
classical music fans. though clicking will reveal more detailed notes which may be a little more
'academic' if you are into that
